The District Coordination Committee Khushab, under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Meesam Abbas, held a District Coordination Meeting to review of the progress of Aaghosh and Bunyad Program under the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA).

On this occasion, the Field Officer PHCIP Mohammad Arshad, outlining the Project details, said that in District Khushab so far 1,411 women associated with the Benazir Income Support Program have visited health centers and registered themselves via the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) app, and are now benefitting from the Aaghosh Program.

In regards to the Bunyad program, he said that the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) facility has been provided in 235 schools. The Deputy Commissioner, praising the performance and efforts of the PHCIP team, provided assurance that the maximum support would be provided by the administration for the Project success to help ensure that the maximum number of people can benefit from Punjab Social Protection Authority’s PHICP Project initative.

CEO Health Dr. Amanullah Qazi, CEO Education Ehsan Ahmed Awan, DCIR MNCEH Dr. Saima Ikram Niazi were also present at the meeting.
