ABOUT US
In an effort to counter health and socio-economic challenges in Punjab, the Government of Punjab, with financial assistance by the World Bank, launched the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) under Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) in close coordination with Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department and School Education Department. Active over the period 2020 – 2025, PHCIP aims to foster human development, with efforts concentrated in 12 selected districts of Punjab. Through its Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar and Bunyad components, PHCIP is working to empower vulnerable households by addressing challenges in healthcare service delivery, economic & social inclusion of vulnerable and poor households and early childhood care and education of the children through government schools.
