TRAINING SESSION FOR LHVs AND LHSs IN DISTRICT LAYYAH

A training session on EMR App and Social Mobilizing was organized under the Aaghosh Program by the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, in which approximately 60 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) and Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) participated in district Layyah.

District Health Authority Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ameer Abdullah warmly welcomed the PHCIP team and expressed his best wishes. He assured his complete support for the success of the Aaghosh Program.

Talking to the participants, PHCIP Health Specialist Dr. Muhammad Nasir emphasized on nutrient-rich diet for better health of pregnant and lactating women, and advised the supervisors to inform pregnant and lactating women about the importance of a nutrient-rich diet.

Aaghosh Communication Kits were distributed during the ceremony to augment the passion of the LHVs and LHSs, so that they can educate lactating and pregnant women about the benefits of the Aaghosh Program and get them to register through the EMR App.

Meanwhile, EMR Specialist Abid Ghaffar trained LHVs about the usage and data feeding process of the EMR App. PHCIP Field Offer Muhammad Mansha while concluding the meeting said, “Our goal is to provide maximum benefits of the Aaghosh Program to maximum beneficiaries registered under the Benazir Income Support Program.”

District Coordinator IRMNCH Dr. Muhammad Muzammil Karim, M&E Officer IRMNCH Ghulam Yaseen, FPO IRMNCH Muhammad Faheem Nawaz and Data Analyst Fahad Ashraf also attended the session.
