A two-day course was organized by the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, for mentors in district Rahim Yar Khan.

Majid Sattar and Hashim Akhtar, the representatives of PHCIP, acknowledged the mentors’ untiring efforts.

Majid Sattar encouraged the mentors to continue their honorable work with the same dedication while discussing the challenges related to the Khud Mukhtar and Aaghosh programs, and appreciated their overall efforts.

Adding to it, Hashim Akhtar acknowledged the mentors’ efforts of going door to door amid the heat wave in the district.

He also gave the credit to the mentors for the increasing numbers of lactating and pregnant women registrations because of their persistence.

Meanwhile, IR Training experts Naveeda Sadiq conducted a detailed session assisted by Miss Sobia, Khud Mukhtar Program Manager, elaborating eligibility and induction procedure of the Khud Mukhtar and Aaghosh programs. This session was attended by 30 mentors from tehsil Rahim Yar Khan.

During this course, the mentors also shared their experiences regarding the Khud Mukhtar program in the district which proves that the mentors have been true to their duties and high in spirit to fulfil their responsibilities through PHCIP Aaghosh and Khud Mukhtar programs, to facilitate maximum beneficiaries registered under the Benazir Income Support Program.

The training was concluded by IRM-NRSP with high hopes at the local office of NRSP.
