The 8th Coordination Committee Meeting of the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project was held under the Chairmanship of CEO Punjab Social Protection Authority, Tauseef Dilshad Khatana. Project Director, Kashif Saeed, PHCIP Health Department Program Manager, Dr. Akhtar Rasheed, School Education Department Program Manager, Ayesha Hussain, Additional Director P&D South Punjab, Muhammad Ramzan, School Education Department South Punjab Deputy Secretary, Faisal Shahzad and other officers were all in attendance at this meeting.

In the Meeting, progress of PHCIP components Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar and Bunyad were reviewed in all the districts. Emphasis was placed specifically on increasing the registration of pregnant and lactating women under the Aaghosh program, and further improving data integration between the Department of Health and PSPA. In this regard, the need for integrated planning and enhancing the pace of work was emphasized to help increase the number of beneficiaries, as well as to facilitate the set goals in being completed according to the prescribed time and quality. The progress of the Khud Mukhtar program was also reviewed, and it was emphasized that the process of delivering productive assets to deserving households should be further improved. Regarding the Bunyad program, emphasis was placing on making the strategy more effective so as to complete the ECCE classes implementation in all districts as soon as possible. All the participants present in the meeting vouched to achieve the future goals of the Project as soon as possible by putting their abilities to work.
