The 17th Project Coordination Committee (PCC) meeting for the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) took place at Punjab Social Protection Authority office

The 17th Project Coordination Committee (PCC) meeting for the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) was convened under the chairmanship of Mr. Ali Shehzad, CEO PSPA/PD PHCIP.
The meeting, also attended by implementation partners from School Education Department and Primary & Secondary Health Department, as well as key stakeholders from the provincial government, focused on progress review of all three components of PHCIP; Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar and Bunyad.
With the extension of the project to June 2026, the PCC also discussed proposed modifications in the Project Operational Manual (POM) and extension of contracts for various service providers beyond June 2025.
Moreover, a proposal about revitalized communication efforts, including the branding of health facilities and distribution of IEC material also came under consideration.
The chair expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project.
This extension and the planned modifications will allow PHCIP to continue its crucial work in improving health and education outcomes in the Punjab.
