The 18th Project Coordination Committee (PCC) meeting

The 18th Project Coordination Committee (PCC) meeting for the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) was convened under the chairmanship of Mr. Ali Shehzad, CEO-PSPA/PD-PHCIP.
Key stakeholders from the School Education Department, Primary & Secondary Health Department, and implementing partners, evaluated the progress of PHCIP’s core components: Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar, and Bunyad.
A thorough review was conducted on the implementation status of decisions stemming from the September 2024 Implementation Support Mission. The committee also approved the Internal Audit Plan for FY 2024-25 and deliberated on the extension of vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with PHCIP’s one-year no-cost extension.
Updates were provided on the ongoing Communication and Social Mobilization campaign, and the procurement of Biometric Verification System (BVS) devices for health facilities, aimed at enhancing service delivery efficiency.
Additionally, the committee was briefed about the project’s Environment & Social Safeguard activities, confirming adherence to sustainability standards.
Reaffirming its commitment to strengthening PHCIP’s mission across the target districts, the Chair emphasized Project’s ongoing efforts to enhance health, education, and social protection outcomes across Project districts.
