The second day of the World Bank’s Implementation Support Mission (ISM) for the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) focused on reviewing the progress of the Social Protection and Health components.
The morning sessions included in-depth discussions on the project’s key features, implementation challenges, and strategies for improved execution. The PHCIP Health team presented a detailed overview of the financial and physical progress of activities under the health components, including the H&NCCT, deployment of community health workers, the status of the LOCUM model, and procurement of goods and supply services.
Stakeholders reiterated their commitment to advancing human capital development in the project districts, aiming to ensure enhanced service delivery and long-term impact.
