Happy smiles on innocent faces are a treasured gift for every parent. Muhammad Rashid’s village in District Muzaffargarh, called Sabzojat, offers very few opportunities for employment whereby to earn a living. Like others, Muhammad Rashid’s work too was inconsistent – however today, through the Khud Mukhtar program, Muhammad Rashid is earning via his own mobile repair shop, and has also opened a small channa chaawal (chickpeas and rice) stall on the opposite side. Now every evening, he returns home with special gifts to bring smiles to his children’s faces.

Muhammad Rashid is grateful for the opportunity to earn a steady livelihood – PHCIP’s Khud Mukhtar program has changed his life. Giving him the initial training to run his business, and helping him equip his shop with mobile accessories, mobile repair equipment, lighting equipment, which has helped his business receive the boost it needed for smooth running.

Muhammad Rashid hopes the PHCIP Khud Mukhtar Program will continue to touch lives and prosper, the same way it has been a beacon of hope in bringing forward a prosperous future for him and his family.
