Consultative Workshops on Integrated Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy under Punjab Human Capital Investment Project

March 4, 2024
PHCIP-PSPA enlisted the expertise of EY Ford Rhodes to execute an “Operations Review” of PHCIP activities, with a primary focus on developing a preliminary Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Strategy for all Implementing Agencies (IAs) within PHCIP. This initiative involved conducting a gap analysis and engaging in numerous consultations with key stakeholders, including the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), School Education Department (SED) led by the Punjab Social Protection Authority.
The workshop kicked off with valuable input from the participants on the draft M&E Strategy, detailed discussions regarding logical frameworks for each project component, and consensus on the future course of action.
The workshop emphasized frameworks and reporting mechanisms tailored for the IAs (P&SHD, SED, and PSPA). The objective was to significantly contribute to the refinement of project management practices and subsequent outcomes. The workshop also provided a solid foundation for officials to proficiently apply M&E principles in their respective roles within their scope of work.
Commencing with participants’ valuable contributions, the workshop seamlessly transitioned into an overview of the M&E Strategy, covering vital aspects such as M&E Frameworks, Information Flow, Reporting Mechanisms, Reporting Issues, Proposed Actions, and the introduction of an Integrated Project Dashboard.
