DISTRIBUTION OF AAGHOSH COMMUNICATION KITS IN DISTRICT D.G. KHAN TO OVER 1200 LHVs, LHSs & LHWs.

In District D.G. Khan, Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, distributed communication kits under the Aaghosh Program to over 1200 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) at health centers established in different tehsils.

On this occasion, CEO Health D.G. Khan Dr. Athar Sukhani, speaking to the participants at the event, said that far-reaching benefits are being achieved as a result of the Aaghosh program, and efforts to improve the health of lactating mothers and children are continually ongoing in various districts of Punjab. Adding to this, Mr. Tahir Taree, District Focal Person PHCIP, praised the role of Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) in ensuring the success of the Aaghosh Program in District D.G. Khan, as they are helping and guiding pregnant and lactating mothers in registering on the EMR App and opening Wallet Accounts via HBL Konnect. Apart from this, Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) are going door to door urging women to take advantage of the Aaghosh program and advising them on getting timely check-ups done at health centers.

At this occasion, Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) said that not only have they been encouraged by the Aaghosh Communication Kits, but are performing their duties with more interest and dedication for the better health of women. They further said that PHCIP’s Aaghosh program has also improved the quality of health facilities and services at the health centers. Registration of pregnant and lactating women has become easier with the help of the EMR App – the number of women forward to register is also increasing with each passing day. Also, ANC, deliveries, PNC cases and routine vaccinations are increasing day by day at the Basic Health Units. The healthcare staff present at the health centers are performing their duties with full dedication.

Towards the end of the Ceremony, Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) thanked the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project for increasing their recognition and respect in the community through the Aaghosh program.
