Mr. Ali Shehzad, the CEO of Punjab Social Protection Authority and Project Director PHCIP, led the meeting. The meeting reviewed the financial and physical progress of PHCIP and its components, namely Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar, and Bunyad. Umar Mehmood Additional Director Planning presented the agenda and briefed the participants on the updated status of the project interventions that occurred after the 10th PCC meeting. Dr. Khalil ur Rehman, the Health Component’s Program Manager, and Sufyan Jabbar, the School Education Component’s Program Manager, provided updates on their respective components. Representatives from the P&D Board and other PHCIP officials including Dr. Akhtar Rasheed, Consultant World Bank Health were also present in the meeting.

Ali Mazhar Additional Director Communications, gave a detailed briefing to the Deputy Directors, Development (representing 12 project districts) on the Aaghosh Communication and Public Information Campaign along with the IEC and branding material dissemination and distribution plan. The Chair also emphasized the importance of the active participation of stakeholders in the Aaghosh campaign and urged them to conduct regular meetings and follow-up sessions with the District Health Authority and in close coordination with the Field Team.

In the course of the review, the Chair suggested improvements to reach the goals set for the next quarter.

The meeting ended with a commitment to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Aaghosh Public Information Campaign, to achieve its objectives
