A training session on EMR App and Social Mobilizing was organized by the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, for Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs). Aaghosh Communication Kits were also distributed among more than 60 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs).

Addressing the participants, PHCIP EMR Specialist Abid Ghaffar said, “This Program is focused on improving the current health services and the health of pregnant and lactating women.”

PHCIP team was warmly welcomed by Chief Executive Officer Health Dr. Saleem Laghari who expressed high hope that the Program will uplift the services at health centres in Bahawalnagar.

PHCIP team also visited the Basic Health Units and observed the available facilities. Addressing the participants, PHCIP Field Officer Nadeem Bhatta said, “Our goal is to provide maximum benefits of the Aaghosh Program to maximum beneficiaries registered under the Benazir Income Support Program in Bahawalnagar.”

Health Specialist Dr. Nasir, Statistical Officer Mohammad Haseeb and IRMNCH District Coordinator Dr. Khalid also attended the training.
