A training session on EMR App and Social Mobilizing was organized under the Aaghosh Program in district Lodhran by the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, in which approximately 50 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) and 40 Lady Health Supervisors (LHSs) participated.

Aaghosh Communication Kits were distributed during the ceremony to augment the passion of the LHVs, LHSs and the medical staff, so that they can perform their responsibilities better, educate lactating and pregnant women about the benefits of the Aaghosh Program, and convince them to make the most of it.

Addressing the participants, PHCIP EMR Specialist Abid Ghaffar said, “This Program is focused on improving the current health services and the health of pregnant and lactating women.”

PHCIP team was warmly welcomed by Chief Executive Officer Health Dr. Shaukat Ali Ajaz who expressed high hope that the Program will uplift the services at health centres.

While talking to the participants, PHCIP Field Officer Umar Farooq said, “Our goal is to provide maximum benefits of the Aaghosh Program to maximum beneficiaries registered under the Benazir Income Support Program in Lodhran.”

PHCIP Health Specialist Dr. Nasir, IRMNCH District Coordinator Dr. Hafiz Mohammad Shahzad, PHFMC District Manager Abid Gill and Data Analyst Mohammad Fahad also attended the session.
