Upgradation of 40 health centres under Aaghosh Program and a roadmap to develop ECCE Classes in 473 schools under Bunyad Program in district Bahawalnagar.

A briefing session was organized by the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), an initiative of the Punjab Social Protection Authority, for a detailed briefing about the Program to Captain (Retd) Muhammad Waseem, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bahawalnagar.

Muhammad Nadeem Bhatta, Field Officer of PHCIP while briefing said, ‘‘The Program was started on 1st July 22 in the district. It aims to bring improvements in the health and primary education sectors, and economic prosperity to increase the quality of life of the beneficiaries. Practical steps are also being taken to accelerate the progress of the Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar and Bunyad programs.

Upgradation of 40 health centres under Aaghosh Program and development of ECCE Classes in 473 schools under Bunyad Program in district Bahawalnagar are in process.

Applauding the launched projects, DC said that these programs will provide equal facilities to the people and their quality of life will be improved. Deputy Director Development and District Officer Social Welfare were also present in the session.

Apart from this, a two-day training session was also arranged under the Aaghosh Program for 160 Lady Health Visitors of Bahawalnagar at the Health Department Hall. EMR Specialist Abid Ghaffar explained to the participants the usage of the EMR App and the procedure to register pregnant and lactating mothers in the Aaghosh Program.

The participants said that it made the registration process easier for them. Also, the complete information regarding beneficiaries is available in the app, making it easier to contact them.
