The World Bank delegation visited the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) Head Office in Lahore after a Field Visit to District Bahawalpur and Muzaffargarh. At the PSPA Head Office Lahore, a meeting was chaired by Mr. Ali Shahzad, CEO PSPA & Project Director PHCIP (Punjab Human Capital Investment Project). Mr. Sohail Saeed Abbasi, World Bank Task Team Leader, and Ms. Amna Khan, Social Protection Specialist World Bank, along with PHCIP officials, debriefed all those present about the Field Visit, expressing satisfaction over the progress & success of the Project and the overall performance of PHCIP Components Aaghosh, Khud Mukhtar, and Bunyad. The PHCIP team, looking at the current situation and the results of recent achievements, identified possible changes for further improvement of the Components. Mr. Farooq Rasheed, PMIU Program Director School Education, Mr. Umar Mehmood, PHCIP Additional Director Planning, Mr. Zaheeruddin Khan, Additional Director Field Operations, Mr. Waqas Ayub Baig, Additional Director IT, Mr. Rizwan Ahmed, Additional Director GRM, Mr. Ali Mazhar, Additional Director Communications, Mr. Aurangzeb Zia, Monitoring Specialist, and other relevant officers were also present.
